What might happen to us and to other consumer species as the humans population grows over the next 40-50 years and per capita consumption of resources such as food, timber, and grassland rises sharply? What are three ways to prevent this from happening?
Mercedes B
10/26/2010 01:25:07 am
we might run out of resources or have limited ones.
Krystal_S
10/26/2010 01:27:47 am
we might run out of resources and space and animal population would decrease rapidly because we would need more supply of them.Three ways to prevent this from happening is change the way live by not demanding so much and requiring unecessary things.
Brenda_S
10/26/2010 01:27:56 am
I believe that the human race along with the other consumer species would not be able to survive from the simple fact that we can barely survive now. Our resources are already sarce as it is and as time prgresses and if things dont change for the better we will eventually kill ourselves.
bryce_w
10/26/2010 01:30:43 am
most likely some species will die off.ways to prevent this is to preserve resources. use reusable resources.stop wasten resources
Tommie M
10/26/2010 01:31:38 am
We would run out of natural resources. Living would be like china. Then 9/10 thier would be more industrial developements and would be living in a polluted environment
Lee S
10/26/2010 01:31:38 am
Humans will deplete all of the resources we depend on. Then our population will decline just as rapidly as it grew because of the lack of resources.
Rashaad J
10/26/2010 01:32:21 am
i think we would run out of resources buutttt!!! in about 40-50 years i think we will have new technology that could help us survive with the population growth... p.s in about 40-50 yrs we gonna be living with robots so if you didnt know now you do...
Tekisha_C
10/26/2010 01:33:12 am
I believe the human race will be in need of more resource, and i also believe the animals will begin to die off. we can prevent these things from happening by recycling and by limiting the resource we use.
Armenia_R
10/26/2010 01:33:26 am
We would run out of natural resources, there will be less resources coming in and more resources being used up.
Darrell R.

I believe human nature might get whip out and not be able to survive.

Three things we need is to preserve the needful resources, stop wasting the useful resources and a limited amount of food.

We jus might possibly lose all exsistance of human life...im jus saying we gone die.

If the world's population began to increse our world's resources are going to slowly decrease and our people will have to decreas their portions of foods and what we consume. The natural resouces are going to slowly decrease as well to the point that our world wont will have to go green and use more technology for everything.
Kendrick S.
10/26/2010 01:38:42 am
We will become massively overpopulated with humans and waste.
Amanda_I
10/26/2010 01:38:56 am
Over the next 40-50 years the human population will grown and use up more resources day after day. Then before we know they will be completely consumed. Three ways of preventing this from happening is:
mya w
10/26/2010 01:39:42 am
the human population will not and can not survive if consumption of resourses rise. resources such as food, timber, and grasslands help the human population survive. when the consumption rate rises, then our population will decrese because there will be a scarce of important resources. us as a population should limit our rate of consumption by savoring food and energy. overall this will make our enviornment more sustainable.
Jordan M
10/26/2010 01:41:22 am
.limit the amount of resources we use
Nee`ma_W
10/26/2010 01:51:06 am
I sincerly believe that we as humans would fall short of a lot of our resources or be extremlly limited.
Kendricck S.
11/2/2010 01:31:22 am
We wwould come short of all resources because of the greedy perspetives that humans influence on each other.
Tekisha_C
11/2/2010 01:32:32 am
we would go low on all resources
Silvia E
11/2/2010 01:35:02 am
i think that theyn would start to find other thinbgs to eat makiing another resources useful but scarce as well
De'ja P
11/2/2010 01:35:18 am
Over the next 40-50 years we will substaintially decrease our resources and/or have severly limited them. Stopping this is inevitable! But we can take small steps to slow the process down. They include:

RieshaG
11/4/2010 01:31:15 am
We use lots of paper, but we have recylce baskets to throw the paper in so we don't waste lots of paper. We try eating healthy meals at lunch so it helps people out with their health issues. At home I try throwing stuff away to help the envirnoment and not go far in cars and etc places and things.

in schools and at home i notice that we as humans use alot of paper and plastic. plastic takes a very long time to degrade. transportation also contributes to the human carbon footprint. school buses, cabs, and cars are forms of transportation to school and all these forms create high amounts of pollution.

3 ways that my lifestyle affects the water cycle is that sometimes some materials that are used in my everyday life pollutes the river, oceans and lakes of our planet. our sewer systems pour into our main waters.

We take too much water out of the water cycle by taking showers, drinking it,watering our grass, using it to clean and cook, etc. We also cause to much pollution from our sewers.
